ILLUSTRATIVE RECORD — NOT AN ACTUAL ESTIMATE

Built for the owner’s side of the desk

Independent rentals / Transportation operators / Small fleets

01 / The process

From the parking lot
to a documented record.

You don’t need to run a body shop to start documenting damage. Bring the photos, review the estimate, and decide what happens next.

01 — CAPTURE

Start with what you can see.

Photograph the vehicle, the affected area, and the details. Wider context matters just as much as the close-up.

Use the photo guide ↗
02 — REVIEW

Make the damage readable.

Use an AI-assisted estimate as a starting point. Check the vehicle details, visible damage, proposed scope, and assumptions before relying on it.

03 — DOCUMENT

Take a clearer record with you.

Export your estimate as a PDF for your records and claims conversations. You decide what to share and handle the follow-up.

PHOTOS + ESTIMATE + PDF. A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT.

02 / More context. Less guesswork.

Know what you’re
bringing to the table.

  • 01Keep photos at the center of the damage record.
  • 02Review a structured, AI-assisted estimate.
  • 03Export a PDF you can use outside the platform.

Have an insurer’s estimate? Upload it for an AI-assisted comparison with your Collision Station estimate. Review the identified differences in documented damage, scope, and assumptions before deciding what to discuss.

Uploaded insurer comparisons require owner review. Collision Station does not negotiate with insurers or send claim emails on your behalf. A difference between estimates does not establish entitlement to a payment.

03 / A useful tool. Clear boundaries.

Documentation.
Not a promise.

Credibility starts with saying exactly what this is—and what it isn’t. Collision Station supports your documentation. It doesn’t take over your claim.

  • AI assistance needs human review.

Photo-based estimates can be incomplete or incorrect. Hidden, structural, or mechanical damage may not be visible.

  • You own the claims process.

You communicate with the insurer, provide supporting records, and make decisions. The platform is not your adjuster or claims representative.

  • No guaranteed outcome.

Insurer approval, supplements, payment amounts, and savings are never guaranteed. A repair professional’s inspection may be necessary.

  • Independent means independent.

Collision Station is a documentation platform, not a repair facility. We do not claim insurer affiliations or endorsements.

04 / Before you begin

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Is this for a business like mine?

If you own or manage vehicles in a small rental or transportation business, this is a way to start organizing damage documentation without operating a repair facility. Owners at businesses such as Claridity are part of the audience—not a claimed customer endorsement.

Is an AI-assisted estimate a final repair quote?

No. It is based on available information and needs review. Photos can miss hidden damage, and labor, parts, and repair requirements may change after inspection. Consult a qualified repair professional when needed.

Will an insurer accept the estimate?

Acceptance is not guaranteed. Insurers use their own coverage terms, review processes, and requirements. You handle submission and communication directly.

Does Collision Station compare insurer estimates for me?

You can upload an insurer’s estimate for an AI-assisted comparison against your Collision Station estimate. Review the comparison and source documents yourself; extraction and analysis may be incomplete or incorrect. You decide what to share and communicate directly with the insurer. The platform does not negotiate or send claim emails on your behalf.

Is the repair network an endorsement?

No. Independent providers can apply to participate. Applications do not establish an endorsement, certification, insurer affiliation, or guarantee of availability or repair quality. Evaluate any provider independently.

What should I photograph first?

Start with full-vehicle context, then the affected panel, then close-ups from several angles. Use daylight where possible, keep the originals, and stay safe. Read the complete photo guide.
